 The South Africans, like most other uncivilized races, deal largely in magical arts, the pharmacopoeia of the Caffrarian medico rests on the basis of witchcraft, nd as rain is a matter of supreme importance in a region subject to desolating droughts, the "rain-maker" is a recognized professional.
